Head of English Church calls for Sharia Law

Isn’t this just great.
From The Associated Press:
LONDON (AP) — The archbishop of Canterbury on Thursday called for a limited application of Islamic law in Britain. Muslims praised the proposal but the government rejected it.
The unusual suggestion from Britain’s highest ranking Christian leader would, if adopted, allow British Muslims to choose to resolve marital and financial disputes under Islamic law, known as Shariah, rather than through British courts.
Archbishop Rowan Williams said in a radio interview with British Broadcasting Corp. that incorporating Islamic law could help improve Britain’s flagging social cohesion.
“Certain provisions of Shariah are already recognized in our society and under our law, so it’s not as if we’re bringing in an alien and rival system,” said Williams, who gave a speech on the topic Thursday night.
This is the world we live in, where the head of the Church of England is openly calling for his country to embrace sharia law. How many years into a potential Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama presidency do you think it will take before we hear the same kind of garbage spewed here in America?
Another Muslim Father “Honors” His Daughters

Here comes another story of a Muslim father’s unwavering love for his daughter, or in the case of 50 year old Yaser Abdel Said Saidyaser of Lewisville, TX — daughters.
IRVING — Police continued their search today for a 50-year-old Lewisville father whose 17- and 18-year-old daughters were found shot to death in an abandoned taxi Tuesday evening in Irving, police said.
Police said they suspect Yaser Abdel Said may have shot Sarah Yaser Said, 17 and Amina Yaser Said, 18 and let them for dead inside his taxi.
Police had not released a motive for the shooting. A 911 cell phone call, believed to have been made by one of the teens at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, alerted police to the shootings, but the caller was unable to tell police where she was and officers were dispatched to the area of North O’Connor Boulevard and Riverside Drive, officials said. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
An hour later, a witness reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Las Colinas Boulevard in the parking lot of the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas.
“Someone walked by the vehicle and saw them inside,” said David Tull, an Irving police spokesman.
Officers found the two sisters dead in that vehicle.
Investigators believe Yaser Abdel Said abandoned his taxi in the parking lot and left the scene.
Police described Yaser Abdel Said as about 6-foot-2, weighing about 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black turtleneck shirt/sweater, a brown coat and tan pants.
Yaser Abdel Said is believed armed with a handgun, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Irving police at 972-721-2518.
I’m sure this had nothing to do with his faith, neither did the killing of Aqsa Parvez.
