The Decline of Western Civilization: Perversity In The Classroom

May 13, 2008 by Joe · Leave a Comment

I know that we live in an imperfect country, but I also know that this country in which we live in is closer to being the perfect country then any other country has ever gotten to. Sometimes even, it is the imperfections in our society that is what makes our country great. Other times, such as is the case with this story out of Haverford Township, PA, — I think to myself that maybe Armageddon can’t come soon enough. As a matter of fact, I think that it is stories such as this one, that makes me wonder if sometime soon God is going to strike down upon us and turn us all into pillars of salt.

From the Philadelphia Inquirer:

For school officials in Haverford Township, the challenge was daunting: What do you do when a 9-year-old student, with the full support of his parents, decides that he is no longer a boy and instead is a girl?

Parents of a third-grade student at Chatham Park Elementary School approached the administration on April 16 to ask for help in making a “social transition” for their child.

The Haverford School District consulted experts on transgender children, then sent letters to parents advising them that the guidance counselor would meet with the school’s 100 third-grade students to explain why their classmate would now wear girls’ clothes and be called by a girl’s name.

Some parents objected. Eight called the principal to ask that their child not attend the session, and some posted angry messages on the Haverford Township blog.

“Why is the school introducing this subject to 8- and 9-year-olds?” wrote the parent who started the blog thread, which had been viewed more than 3,000 times as of yesterday. “Why were we not notified sooner. We received the letter today, the discussion at school is tomorrow.”

Other parents thought the school should not have called attention to an already delicate situation.

“I did not think that the letter needed to go out,” said Valerie Huff, whose daughter is friends with the transgender student. “The kids don’t make any big deal about it at all.”

Mary Beth Lauer, district director of community relations, said there were no easy answers for school officials.

“This is something that was going to come out,” Lauer said. “Isn’t it better to be proactive, and let people know what is happening and how we’re dealing with it?”

The student has not received medical treatments to change his sex, but has told others that he considers himself a girl, according to several people who know the family.

He had begun wearing girls’ clothes, Huff said, and an approaching school event would have made the child’s gender identity an issue, according to Lauer, who declined to discuss the matter in greater detail.

In the April 21 letter to parents, Chatham Park principal Daniel D. Marsella wrote that a transgender child is one whose biological gender does not match his or her gender identity. Marsella assured parents that the talk with students, held two days later, would use “developmentally appropriate language” to explain “how we need to help this student make a social transition in school.”

When the guidance counselor, Catherine Mallam, spoke with the children, she explained that one of their classmates looked like a boy on the outside but felt like a girl inside, according to a summary of her remarks prepared by the school for parents. She asked them to accept the student as a girl and not make unkind remarks.

I’m not even sure where to begin my rant on this story; it literally makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it. The thought that this type of sick and twisted thinking is being allowed to spread throughout any level of public education — yet alone the third grade is just plain idiotic. This poor kid, whose mind is all twisted up, has complete fucking idiots for parents. The Haverford School District and Chatham Park Elementary School have complete fucking idiots for administrators.

When it comes to the issue of gender there is one undeniable, irrefutable, absolute truth — if you are born with a penis and testicles you are a male and if you are born with a vagina and ovaries you are a female. Period. End of discussion. Anybody who thinks otherwise is not only wrong, but they are so completely and utterly devoid of any common sense that they need to have a lobotomy.

It really seems pointless asking this question anymore, but have we really fallen into an abyss of degenerate thinking in this country that is so deep that this type of deviancy is considered normal? In a third grade classroom?

No wonder the Islamofascists call us the “great white satan,” because that’s what we have become as a society when we not only allow little 8-year-old Johnny to pretend that he’s really little 8-year-old Jenny but we encourage it and try to explain it to his 8 year old classmates.

Random Musings

February 26, 2008 by Joe · 1 Comment

I have not been posting at the same rate that I have in the weeks prior to this past week. I have been pretty upset since Fred Thompson dropped out of the race, and firmly believe as the guys at IMAO so eloquently put it that, “One day, America will be awesome enough to have Fred Thompson as president. Until then, we must prove ourselves worthy by punching more hippies.”

Despite my melancholy over the inability of so-called Conservatives to see and vote for the only true Conservative running (Fred Thompson) I moved on to the most-conservative of the group that was left in Mitt Romney. Unfortunately he too dropped out leaving me the choice of the populist preacher and the Democrat’s favorite ill-named “maverick.” I don’t care for John McCains politics much and as a Conservative disagree with him on a whole host of issues but I for the life of me cannot fathom how many Conservatives, including a number of Conservative bloggers I respect a whole hell of a lot — can claim to not want Hillary or Obama in the White House, but would rather write in Tom Tancredo or vote “None of The Above” thus pretty much guaranteeing that Hillary or most likely Obama will win the nomination and set America back 50 years. Yeah John McCain may not be a Conservative, but anybody who calls themselves one and would at the same time in a de facto way help ensure that Obama is the President — has no business calling themselves one either. So that has me pretty depressed and not wanting to blog much either.

I’m reading Jonah Goldberg’s “Liberal Fascism” and find myself going back and re-reading pages two, three and even four times to let it all sink in. I think it has surpassed Mark Steyn’s “America Alone” as the most important book to come out in the last decade. I wish I had the financial wherewithal to buy a couple hundred thousand copies and pass it around at America’s universities.

I found an interesting, well at least to me, tidbit via my site meter stats. If you type the words “African American blog” into google — this site comes up at the top of the list.

Iron Maiden has announced their ‘SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME’ 2008 World Tour — and there is no Cleveland date as of yet, that’s pretty upsetting. Though Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Vinny Appice and Ronnie James Dio collectively known as Heaven & Hell (originally Black Sabbath for 2 albums) are currently getting ready to record a new album so that is pretty damn cool.

My Cleveland Cavaliers have made a trade that I myself like, in getting Ben Wallace, Delonte West, Wally Szczerbiak and Joe Smith, because it addresses the three needs I have been complaining about the most while getting rid of two good players who didn’t fit In here, Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden and a couple of scrubs — so thats pretty cool. Spring Training started, that’s pretty cool, hopefully my Tribe can get even further then they did last year.

I’m still not really in the mood to write anything of substance, so I’ll just talk about other people’s posts.

Red Planet Cartoons has a great cartoon and post up about the expiration of the The Protect America Act and San Fran Nan’s and her Dhimmicrat collegues refusing to reauthorize it.

By the way, as I was uploading the pic to my photobucket account I noticed one of those true.com web ads, am I really dirty for thinking that kissyface27 is hot as hell?

Mike’s America had me laughing at his post on the recent picture circulating of Barack Hussein Obama wearing traditional African Muslim garb. If you go to his comments, Mike has a great picture up of Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Nancy.

My best friend Luke, who blogs way too sporadically (he claims he has a “life,” I’m not sure what that term means anymore myself) has a great post up. You should go read the whole thing, but here’s a great snippet.

We Americans are THEIR boss and we tell THEM what they can and cannot spend OUR money on nad (sic) NOT the other way around!!!!  And this Barack Hussein Obama “MOVEMENT” looks more like the typical liberal bowel movement of easy answers and half measures that will lead to 4 years of the government (sic) mandates and a reintroduction of ”The Misery Index”.

Luke, like myself, is not very skilled at the arts of proper spelling and correct grammar and I can picture our fourth and seventh grade teacher Mrs. Fuerst all up in arms over this in my head. He makes some great points though.

Speaking of great points, Cory makes some great points in his most recent post, which you should read the whole thing. Here is a snippet of it:

I believe liberals in government use the rich as a common enemy of the masses.  The idea plays on the emotion of men of all educational backgrounds.  It plays on their envy of what others have accomplished.  History has shown us that class envy leads to revolution and revolution is a change in constitution or government.  As liberals have created this enemy in the minds of the masses they are viewed as heroes for taking from the accomplished to give to what they call the “entitled.”  Class envy also creates a hatred towards the most free economic system in mankind’s history which is capitalism.

The liberals under the guise of patriotism have used the tool of class warfare to create angst against not only capitalism, but the history of America as well through our capitalist system which is representative of freedom.  They have used and skewed the founders words to aide them in accomplishing these deeds.  With the history of America being tarnished the founding document becomes more and more subject to change from it’s original intent.

Here is my comment on that post:

There is a dirty little secret that the extreme left (the people who run the Democratic Party) under the false guises of “liberalism,” and “progressivism,” do not want the common man (Independents, and non-activist Democrats) to know. This dirty little secret is so strong, so dangerous that if it the vast majority of Americans were to be made aware of it and allowed to understand and fully grasp the meaning of it — the Democratic Party would collapse like a house of cards.

This dirty little secret strikes at the hearts and souls of America’s extreme left and would expose them for what they really are. The problem is, that over the last century and especially the last half century, the people whom this secret exposes — the extreme left have ingrained themselves not just into the heart and soul of the Democratic party, but also into America’s media (television news, newspapers, magazines), as well as our education system (from Kindergarten straight up to our so-called institutions of higher education.) These people are high-ranking DNC officials, they are our Senators and Representatives, they are our Deans and professors at our Universities, they are our Newspaper reporters, editors and publishers and they are our Nightly News Anchors.

The dirty little secret is that these people, whom the common man look up to tell them the way things are supposed to be — have a past that is deeply rooted in the admiration of socialist and communist ideologies. The even bigger secret that the Code Pink bitches and the MoveOn.org nut jobs don’t want you to know — because they are constantly comparing George W. Bush to Hitler and calling our current administration “fascists” is that it is they — and by “they” I mean the extreme left in this country that are truly the fascists and the admirers of fascist doctrines.

It is America’s left dating all the way back to the days of Woodrow Wilson and Franklyn Delano Roosevelt and to today’s crop of ideologues in Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Barack Obama who are the ones who have the principles that are strikingly similar to Adolf Hitlers Nazism (which literally means “National Socialism) and Mussolini’s Fascism — not George W. Bush and the Republicans.

It was the Nazi’s who believes in Free Health Care for everyone. It was the Nazi’s who believed in guaranteed jobs for everyone. It was the Nazis who confiscated inheritances. It was the Nazis who spent abnormal amounts of government money on public education. It was the Nazi’s struck the Church out of people’s lives and out of the public consciousness. It was the Nazis who promoted secularism. It was the Nazis who declared a war on smoking. It was the Nazis who tried to mandate what people did and did not eat. It was the Nazi’s who supported gun control and took away the guns from the people. It was the Nazis who supported abortion on demand. It was the Nazis who hated the free markets and hated liberty and the entrepreneurial spirit.

Who today do we see that holds views such as these? Why it’s the people who are running as “Democrats” to become the next President of the United States. Anybody with half a brain and a library card can dig deep and find the absolute love and admiration that the forefathers of the new American Left (Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Mother Jones and the founders of the New Republic) had for Stalin, Lenin, Mussolini and even Adolph Hitler — the problem is the people who admire them today are so ingrained into America’s institutions — that they have perpetrated the ultimate hoax on the people of America, by not allowing this dirty little secret to come out.

Speaking of Cory, be sure to check out his blog talk radio show, The Conservative Way.

That’s all for now, maybe I’ll resume regular blogging soon.

Professor Offers Extra Credit To Students Who Burn The Flag

November 3, 2007 by Joe · 1 Comment

Imagine this, you are a young college student and are entering your Sophomore year, having had just decided upon a double major in Journalism and Political Science. You are proceeding to take your core requirement classes, the ones that you need to get out of the way before you get into the more advanced classes. You register for History of Mass Communication, and show up on your first day ready to learn.

At your first day in class, the Professor introduces himself and goes over the class syllabus, talking about how you should be on time, how assignments will be graded, what topics will be discussed, and then the discussion goes to extra credit points and how you can receive them. One of the methods discussed for receiving extra credit — burning the American Flag or the U.S. Constitution and getting arrested “defending free speech.”

Outrageous you say? Well in a just world it would be outrageous, but unfortunately that is the state of academia in our country. Only being a few years removed myself from having graduated College, I can recall similar incidents. While I was lucky enough never to have a Professor go to the extreme such as this case, I’ve had plenty of occasion to sit in classes where the professor to get their liberal points of view in — even in classes that had nothing to do with politics, history and the such.

The above scenario was completely true, it happened not too long ago to Rebekah McDade in Paul Grosswiler’s History of Mass Communication class at the University of Maine.

From the Bangor Daily News:

ORONO, Maine - A University of Maine student alleges her former professor offered extra credit to class members if they burned the American flag or the U.S. Constitution or were arrested defending free speech.

On the first day of class, associate professor Paul Grosswiler offered the credit to members of his History of Mass Communications class, according to sophomore Rebekah McDade. Disturbed by the comment, McDade dropped the class and intends to take the course again next semester with a different professor.

“I was offended,” McDade said Friday. “I come from a family of military men and women, and the flag and Constitution are really important symbols to me because of my family background.”

In an e-mail responding to a request for comment from the Bangor Daily News on Friday, Grosswiler said he thought McDade misunderstood the class discussion, which was intended to elicit thought about the First Amendment. He said he has held this same discussion for years without incident.

How much do you bet that burning a foreign countries flag on campus would get you suspended or expelled?

Ohio High School promotes Homosexuality during morning announcements

October 20, 2006 by Joe · 1 Comment

This story is about a week old, but I actually heard it for the first time yesterday while listening to a local talk show here in Cleveland. On the morning of October 10, the morning announcements at Berea High School (in suburban Cleveland) included the following message.

Tomorrow is National Coming Out Day an ongoing national campaign organized by the Human Rights Coalition to encourage lesbian, gay, bisexual, regender and allied people to live openly and honestly. The Student Equal Rights Coalition will be handing out pamphlets of information in the octagon during lunch mods.

It was just thrown in their in between an announcement about Key Club and the final home varsity soccer game like it was no big deal at all. Reading, Writing, Arithmetic and Homosexuality apparently is now part of the curriculum in our nations schools.

So now thanks to the radical left if that varsity soccer team wanted to say a prayer before their game or if a student even just wanted to prayer on their own in private, that’s not right. If a group of students put together a group called say The Jesus Chris Coalition and were promoting say a National Christ Day they’d have the radical left via the ACLU pounding down on that school so fast they wouldn’t know what hit them. But deviant lifestyle’s hey that’s not only right but it should be encouraged.

So “God” and “Christ” need to be taken out of our classrooms because not every child in our schools are Christians and someone might be offended. But even though the great majority of students are not homosexuals and the great majority of students and more importantly their parents are offended by the promotion of deviant lifestyle’s such as the lesbian/gay/regendered agenda — promoting homosexual causes is o.k.

I don’t even need to discuss the right or wrong of it, it’s just plain illogical.

Former Iranian President defends executing gays — Harvard sits silent.

September 13, 2006 by Joe · 1 Comment

Former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami spoke to a crowd at Harvard earlier this week. You can read the entire story at The Harvard Crimson. Here’s an excerpt that I just had to point out.

In response to another question, Khatami also justified his country’s use of capital punishment for acts of homosexuality, but said that the conditions for execution are so strict that they are “virtually impossible to meet.”

“Homosexuality is a crime in Islam and crimes are punishable,” Khatami said. “And the fact that a crime could be punished by execution is debatable.”

The audience responded with silence to his remark.

You just have to love the hypocrisy at our so-called institutions of higher learning, the man pretty much endorses the slaughter of homosexuals, and the crowd sits silent. It’s just another example of how to the left hatred of America, Bush and the political right trumps the usual liberal viewpoints.

Note: It’s not the first time I pointed out the lunacy of an Ivy League school.

Colorado “Geography” Teacher

March 6, 2006 by Joe · Leave a Comment

The first amendment to the U.S. constitution preserves the right of free speech in our country.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

No law shall be made by congress prohibiting the free exercise of beliefs. That means that the republication of political cartoons deemed offensive by Muslims should not be barred from being published, that means that no matter how offensive and vulgar their viewpoints are neo-nazi groups are allowed to rally, as long as its done peaceably. That also means that people can write articles or publish books or film documentaries that are inflammatory in nature to the U.S. government and/or the President of the United States.

Freedom of speech is part of what makes this a great country.

The comments made by Jay Bennish in an Aurora, Colorado 10th grade “Human Geography” classroom, do not fall under the constitutional protection of freedom of speech however. He was employed by the school district to instruct a class based on the curriculum of that class. If his class was titled something such as ‘a critical analysis of U.S. foreign policy from a non-western perspective’ then comments he reportedly made in his class such as comparing President George W. Bush to Adolf Hitler or claiming that Hamas was not a terrorist organization would probably fit with the curriculum.

Jay Bennish is allowed to possess any personal viewpoint that he may wish to hold, furthermore he is allowed to express those views and make them known. He is not allowed however, to make statements that do not fall in line with the curriculum he was hired to teach. Comparing Bush to Hitler and making statements such as

“…well then don’t the Peruvians and the Iranians and the Chinese have the right to invade America and drop chemical weapons over North Carolina to destroy the tobacco plants …”

should not be allowed to be spoken in front of a captive audience of 10th grade students, just as saying something like ‘those who preach Islam should be eradicated from the planet’ should not be allowed to be uttered.

Asking students to question authority is one thing, as a matter of fact in my opinion it is something that should be applauded. I think our educational system should allow and encourage students to develop independent minds, draw conclusions and develop opinions on their own. When teaching a subject matter both sides of an argument should be presented and laid out without a slant towards any direction, to allow students to develop and draw their own opinions. It is clear by listening to the twenty minute audio recording that Mr. Bennish’s lecture was not doing this. He lecture was clearly an attempt at an indoctrination of his personal beliefs and not education.

An Ivy League Talibani

March 3, 2006 by Joe · 1 Comment

I wonder where all the feminist outcries are now. An employee of one of the most ruthless regimes in modern history, one that subjugated and brutalized women in despicable ways — not to mention harbored the perpetrators of 9/11, is attending an American University, an Ivy League one no less.

Here is just a small sample from a 1998 report via the Physicians for Human Rights about Women under the Taliban regime. This does not even mention gang raping, lust murders, abductions of young females, blackmail of families with eligible daughters, etc.

  • women are regularly and brutally beaten for walking on the street without a male chaperone or without a garment (burqa) that covers their bodies from head to toe;
  • women who once contributed to the support of their families have become destitute, and must now beg because they are forbidden from working;
  • women cannot obtain health care from many facilities and cannot be examined by a male doctor without a chaperone; yet female doctors and nurses are severely restricted from practicing, and many have fled the country; and schools for women and girls have closed their doors, with the exception of Qur’anic training for girls under eight, leaving the female population hopeless about their futures.

Why aren’t the feminist groups or any group for that matter at Yale protesting his privileged education?

John Fund of the Wall Street Journal has a great article about the talibani student, as does a student at Yale.
