Bush and Cheney step down, Nancy Pelosi sworn in

November 2, 2008 by Joe

No not really, scared the crap out of you though didn’t it.

Pat Dollard has Bush’s “resignation” speech up over at his site.

Here’s a snippet.

The reason I’m quitting is simple. I’m fed up with you people. I’m fed up because you have no understanding of what’s really going on in the world. Or of what’s going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.

Let’s start local. You’ve been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media.

Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there’s increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.

We face real threats in the world. Don’t give me this ‘blood for oil’ thing. If I were trading blood for oil I would’ve already seized Iraq’s oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell. And don’t give me this ‘Bush Lied…People Died’ crap either. If I were the liar you morons take me for, I could’ve easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be ‘discovered.’ Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.

You can go read the whole thing here. It’s a comedic piece of course, but the message is all too true.

Federal Judge in Ohio declares park benches as valid addresses to vote

October 29, 2008 by Joe

This country has gone completely fucking insane.

Via the Columbus Dispatch:

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A federal judge in Ohio has ruled that counties must allow homeless voters to list park benches and other locations that aren’t buildings as their addresses.

U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus also ruled that provisional ballots can’t be invalidated because of poll worker errors.

Monday’s ruling resolved the final two pieces of a settlement between the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless and Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner.

The coalition agreed to drop a constitutional challenge to Ohio’s voter identification law until after the Nov. 4 election. In return, Brunner and the coalition agreed on procedures to verify provisional ballots across all Ohio counties.

The coalition was concerned that unequal treatment of provisional ballots would disenfranchise some voters.

What I want to know is how exactly does one get their mail delivered to them when their listed address is a park bench or a freeway overpass? I also want to know how exactly do you prove that you have lived in Ohio for at least 30 days, as is required by law before you can vote in an election in Ohio?

So homeless wino’s and crack heads can vote no problem, but many of the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces defending our freedom may not have their absentee ballots counted?

Jackass liberals say that they do all this stuff so certain segments of the population don’t get disenfranchised, meanwhile the only people being disenfranchised with all the rampant voter fraud perpetrated by the far left, is the few remaining people in this nation who still possess values such as common sense.

Obama Supporters in Harlem Quizzed

October 13, 2008 by Joe

Now I have never really been a big fan of Howard Stern, even though I am a part of his prime demographic, his type of humor has never really appealed to me. But I got this video emailed to me today and I just had to share it.

Here is the set up, someone in Howard’s crew headed out to Harlem and interviewed random people on the street to see whom they support, Barrack Obama or John McCain. Here is the catch though, they not only attributed McCain’s policies to Obama they also said that Palin was Obama’s running mate, here are the responses.

Douchebag Of The Week: John Wiley Price

July 9, 2008 by Joe

Now this may sound like a satirical story from a source such as the Onion, but in fact it is an actual event that happened during a county meeting this past Monday afternoon.

Via the Dallas Morning News’s City Hall Blog:

A special meeting about Dallas County traffic tickets turned tense and bizarre this afternoon.

County commissioners were discussing problems with the central collections office that is used to process traffic ticket payments and handle other paperwork normally done by the JP Courts.

Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections “has become a black hole” because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.

Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud “Excuse me!” He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a “white hole.”

That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.

Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term. A black hole, according to Webster’s, is perhaps “the invisible remains of a collapsed star, with an intense gravitational field from which neither light nor matter can escape.”

Other county officials quickly interceded to break it up and get the meeting back on track. TV news cameras were rolling, after all.

Wow. I’m not from Dallas so I’m not familiar with the political workings of the area, so I’m not sure if this Price guy is just a total moron, or just a race-baiter. In either case because of his extreme case of douchebaggery he has won the award as this week’s Rightwingrebel.com Douchebag of the week.

Muslims Hate Puppies

July 2, 2008 by Joe

In another sign that before my lifetime is up, Europe’s transformation into Eurabia will be complete, Scottish officials are apologizing after crazy Muslims complained about a cute little puppy on pictured on a postcard advertising a new phone number for the Tayside Police Force.

From the Scotsman:

A POLICE force has apologised over concerns that an advertisement featuring a German shepherd pup could be offensive to the Islamic community.

As part of a campaign to publicise its new non-emergency telephone number, Tayside Police used a picture of a black puppy, Rebel, on postcards to be distributed throughout the east coast region.

However, following the intervention of Mohammed Asif, a Dundee councillor who warned police the image would “not be welcomed” by some communities, the force described the publicity drive as an “oversight”.

Mr Asif, a member of the Tayside Joint Police Board, raised the matter on Monday after claiming the potentially offensive nature of the postcards had been brought to his attention by members of the city’s 3,000-strong Muslim community.

Traditionally, dogs have been seen as impure, and the Islamic legal tradition has developed several injunctions that warn Muslims against most contact with them.

I’m sorry, but if your religious beliefs cause you to complain about the picture of a puppy on a postcard, your religion is fucking stupid. Furthermore, anybody who apologizes over offending someone by putting a picture of a puppy on a postcard, is even fucking stupider.

More from the article:

Ian Mackintosh, an Angus councillor and convener of the Tayside Joint Police Board, said: “The force has made it clear that it was an oversight not to consult their diversity adviser on this occasion and that there was no intention to cause upset or offence.”

I can’t stand that there are even such things as “diversity advisers,” but what I hate even more is the sad state that our world is in when somebody has to apologize for not consulting with their “diversity adviser,” to see if printing a picture of a puppy on a postcard may offend anyone.

I expect this sort of sniveling, chicken-shit, bullshit from the likes of the French, but from the Scots? I just can’t believe it. Does anybody in Europe have a backbone anymore, or has it become a whole continent full of spineless fucking jellyfish just waiting for Islam to take it over?

The Decline of Western Civilization: Perversity In The Classroom

May 13, 2008 by Joe

I know that we live in an imperfect country, but I also know that this country in which we live in is closer to being the perfect country then any other country has ever gotten to. Sometimes even, it is the imperfections in our society that is what makes our country great. Other times, such as is the case with this story out of Haverford Township, PA, — I think to myself that maybe Armageddon can’t come soon enough. As a matter of fact, I think that it is stories such as this one, that makes me wonder if sometime soon God is going to strike down upon us and turn us all into pillars of salt.

From the Philadelphia Inquirer:

For school officials in Haverford Township, the challenge was daunting: What do you do when a 9-year-old student, with the full support of his parents, decides that he is no longer a boy and instead is a girl?

Parents of a third-grade student at Chatham Park Elementary School approached the administration on April 16 to ask for help in making a “social transition” for their child.

The Haverford School District consulted experts on transgender children, then sent letters to parents advising them that the guidance counselor would meet with the school’s 100 third-grade students to explain why their classmate would now wear girls’ clothes and be called by a girl’s name.

Some parents objected. Eight called the principal to ask that their child not attend the session, and some posted angry messages on the Haverford Township blog.

“Why is the school introducing this subject to 8- and 9-year-olds?” wrote the parent who started the blog thread, which had been viewed more than 3,000 times as of yesterday. “Why were we not notified sooner. We received the letter today, the discussion at school is tomorrow.”

Other parents thought the school should not have called attention to an already delicate situation.

“I did not think that the letter needed to go out,” said Valerie Huff, whose daughter is friends with the transgender student. “The kids don’t make any big deal about it at all.”

Mary Beth Lauer, district director of community relations, said there were no easy answers for school officials.

“This is something that was going to come out,” Lauer said. “Isn’t it better to be proactive, and let people know what is happening and how we’re dealing with it?”

The student has not received medical treatments to change his sex, but has told others that he considers himself a girl, according to several people who know the family.

He had begun wearing girls’ clothes, Huff said, and an approaching school event would have made the child’s gender identity an issue, according to Lauer, who declined to discuss the matter in greater detail.

In the April 21 letter to parents, Chatham Park principal Daniel D. Marsella wrote that a transgender child is one whose biological gender does not match his or her gender identity. Marsella assured parents that the talk with students, held two days later, would use “developmentally appropriate language” to explain “how we need to help this student make a social transition in school.”

When the guidance counselor, Catherine Mallam, spoke with the children, she explained that one of their classmates looked like a boy on the outside but felt like a girl inside, according to a summary of her remarks prepared by the school for parents. She asked them to accept the student as a girl and not make unkind remarks.

I’m not even sure where to begin my rant on this story; it literally makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it. The thought that this type of sick and twisted thinking is being allowed to spread throughout any level of public education — yet alone the third grade is just plain idiotic. This poor kid, whose mind is all twisted up, has complete fucking idiots for parents. The Haverford School District and Chatham Park Elementary School have complete fucking idiots for administrators.

When it comes to the issue of gender there is one undeniable, irrefutable, absolute truth — if you are born with a penis and testicles you are a male and if you are born with a vagina and ovaries you are a female. Period. End of discussion. Anybody who thinks otherwise is not only wrong, but they are so completely and utterly devoid of any common sense that they need to have a lobotomy.

It really seems pointless asking this question anymore, but have we really fallen into an abyss of degenerate thinking in this country that is so deep that this type of deviancy is considered normal? In a third grade classroom?

No wonder the Islamofascists call us the “great white satan,” because that’s what we have become as a society when we not only allow little 8-year-old Johnny to pretend that he’s really little 8-year-old Jenny but we encourage it and try to explain it to his 8 year old classmates.

7-Year-Old Ridin’ Dirty

April 29, 2008 by Joe

So, this morning while driving home from work I tuned into my local rock station 100.7, well it’s not really a rock station anymore it’s FM talk radio, but that’s a different rant — and heard the morning host Rover of Rover’s Morning Glory talk about this story.

This past Sunday, Latarian Milton, 7, of Palm beach Gardens, FL, decided to go out for a joyride because he wanted to do “hood rat stuff” for his friend. Yes, you read that right, a 7 year old wanted to do “hood rat stuff.” So he took the keys to his grandmother’s 2006 Dodge Durango and he and the friend he wanted to do “hood rat stuff” for went out on a little joy ride during rush hour.

From WPBF 25:

“We got the call about a driver in the vehicle who looked too short to see over the steering wheel,” said Ellen Lovejoy of the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department.

Along the way, police said Milton ran over two mailboxes, hit two parked cars in a Costco parking lot and struck two moving cars near a Walmart.

“I wanted to do it because it’s fun. Fun to do bad things,” said Milton. “I wanted to do hood-rat stuff for my friend.”

Police said the joy-ride ended on Investment Lane and Consumer Drive when Milton hit a curb and sideswiped a sign. According to authorities the SUV took most of the beating — snapping off one of its axles and wheels.

“Well, right now I just want to whip his behind that’s what I want to do right now. If I thought they wouldn’t take me jail I’d whip his behind right now,” said Stratford.

When WPBF News 25 asked Milton if he felt he should be punished for his actions he said, “Just a little bit, no video games for a whole weekend.”

No video games for a whole weekend? If he were my child, how about no video games until your 18, or at least until a few years after you get out of the juvenile detention video. As a matter of fact, if he were my child I should be locked for my complete and utter lack of parenting skills — as should his legal guardians.

Watch the video and notice how this well on the path to being a future hard core criminal kid has absolutely no remorse for what he has done.

I know he is only a 7-year-old child, but any kid that shows so little compassion over potentially talking away human life and over causing as much damage as he did — all because he wanted to do “hood rat stuff” should not be punished like normal 7-year-olds would be for doing something wrong.

He should have to spend a day and night locked in a jail cell in an adult prison facility so he can witness what doing “hood rat stuff” will bring him in the future. Then he should be removed from his legal guardians, who obviously have no clue about parenting and then placed in a juvenile detention facility for a spell and then in foster care — hopefully for the kids sake with the family of a Preacher or some sort of clergyman.

His legal guardian, since the boy is only 7, should be charged with stealing their own vehicle and causing all the damage that was done. I think it’s only fair for raising a 7-year-old that wants to do “hood rat stuff.”

More proof that Government is stupid

April 28, 2008 by Joe

The bigger and more unnecessary government and government agencies get, the more we have stupidity such as this.

Christopher Ratte, 47, professor of classical archaeology at the University of Michigan, took his 7-year-old son, Leo, to a Detroit Tigers game at Comerica Park a few weeks back. The boy was thirsty, so his father ordered him a lemonade. The ninth inning rolls around and a security guard notices the child drinking the lemonade. The guard approaches the father and asks him “You know this is an alcoholic beverage?”

Now if you are a reasonable person with some common sense, you might assume that the rest of the conversation may have gone something like this:

“No, I wasn’t aware that this was alcoholic.” The father replied.

“Yes,” The guard answers, Mike’s Hard Lemonade is an adult beverage containing alcohol.”

“Thank you for pointing that out to me.” The father replies, taking the drink away from his 7-year-old son. “I can’t believe I made such a mistake.

Now as I was saying if you are a reasonable person with common sense you might assume that the events following the guard noticing the child with the Lemonade flavored adult beverage may have gone something like the above scenario. But unfortunately in this day and age that we live in, it was not even close to what happened.

From the Detroit Free Press:

“You know this is an alcoholic beverage?” the guard asked the professor.

“You’ve got to be kidding,” Ratte replied. He asked for the bottle, but the security guard snatched it before Ratte could examine the label.

Mistake or child neglect?

An hour later, Ratte was being interviewed by a Detroit police officer at Children’s Hospital, where a physician at the Comerica Park clinic had dispatched Leo — by ambulance! — after a cursory exam.

Leo betrayed no symptoms of inebriation. But the physician and a police officer from the Comerica substation suggested the ER visit after the boy admitted he was feeling a little nauseated.

The Comerica cop estimated that Leo had drunk about 12 ounces of the hard lemonade, which is 5% alcohol. But an ER resident who drew Leo’s blood less than 90 minutes after he and his father were escorted from their seats detected no trace of alcohol.

“Completely normal appearing,” the resident wrote in his report, “… he is cleared to go home.”

But it would be two days before the state of Michigan allowed Ratte’s wife, U-M architecture professor Claire Zimmerman, to take their son home, and nearly a week before Ratte was permitted to move back into his own house.

The best part about this whole story is that everyone involved in this idiotic mess that turned an honest mistake into an event that tore a child away from his parents and forced him into a foster homes claims that they were, “just doing there job.”

But there was really nothing any of them could do, they all said. They were just adhering to protocol, following orders.

And so what had begun as an outing to the ballpark ended with Leo crying himself to sleep in front of a television inside the Child Protective Services building, and Ratte and his wife standing on the sidewalk outside, wondering when they’d see their little boy again.

RIP Common Sense.

Republicans for Obama — useful idiots

February 25, 2008 by Joe

I just found out about this story, from Karol at Alarming News. It’s about Republicans for Obama, whom the Illinois Senator apparently calls, wait for it — “Obamacans.” Karol called them “Democrats” I’ll just go ahead and call them idiots, even though more often then not calling a Democrat an idiot, especially ones of the far left kind, is like calling water wet.

This tidbit from the article gave me a good chuckle:

Johanna Schneider was one of his Virginia supporters. She went door to door for Obama with her 14-year-old son, Chase, convinced that fellow Republicans have lost their way. “I just feel this is a tremendous opportunity to open politics up to a new generation,” said Schneider, a former GOP staffer on Capitol Hill. “And I believe that Barack Obama is a genuine transformational candidate.”

I would have to agree, in the sense that yes Republicans have lost their way. They have turned their back on the time tested and proven truths of Conservatism and have acted like Democrats drunkenly spending the people’s tax money. That’s why we lost the House and Senate in 2006, because Republicans turned their backs on Conservatism.

But I’m sorry, anybody who would dare call themselves a “Republican” and say that they are supporting Barrack Obama has not just “lost their way,” they have fallen off the edge of cliff. Either that, or they never really truly a Republican in the first place.

Anybody who is falling for Barrack Obama because of his “personality” and “likeability” factor and ignoring the issues, because Obama is the supposed candidate of a “third way” that will end partisanship in Washington — is nothing but a damned fool. I’m sorry but real Republicans are too smart to fall for Barrack Obamas empty message of “hope,” and “change.” Real Conservatives know that “change” just for the sake of it, is nothing more then a fools errand that will make things far, far worse then the way that people claim it is now. At what cost will this change come to America?

Victor Davis Hanson, sums up what a Barrack Hussein Obama Presidency will bring us quite well:

At home, there will be an increase in taxes—income, estate, payroll—to fund more government health care, education, and general entitlement programs. The old Reaganesque notion that government subsidies can make one more dependent, angrier, and envious is forgotten, along with the notion that lower taxes stimulate economic growth and encourage risk-taking, innovation, and independence. I worry especially about the lifting of income caps (how far?) on social security taxes inasmuch as they were part of the original covenant justifying the caps on benefits paid out.

NAFTA and other free trade agreements would be repealed; illegal immigration would either not be an issue, or more a problem of finding the right way, with borders still open, to grant amnesties. Appointments would hinge on a belief in bigger government and the theme that the individual is currently suffering due to reactionaries in government and corporations, barely housed, fed, or educated, and deserves more federal dollars appropriated from others who either don’t need all their income or didn’t deserve the compensation they were given.

Abroad, there is a general argument that things are going terribly. Forget that the Taliban and Saddam are gone. Forget that we have not suffered another 9/11 attack. Forget that there is far more democratic promise in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, and Lebanon than was true in 2001. Forget that the Merkel and Sarkozy governments, along with Eastern European leaders, are more pro-American than their predecessors in 2001.

Instead, we are disliked by everyone, and for good reasons. The fact that Iranian mullahs, the House of Saud cousins, Hugo Chavez’s communists, European mullahs, and the Arab street don’t approve of America says more about us than it does them. The solution is to follow more the dictates of European Union and United Nations, where sophisticated internationalists can guide us through the maze of global power, instructing mostly ignorant Americans how and why we tend to cause so many of the world’s problems. Misunderstanding and our own obtuseness explain global tension, not the agendas of enemies who know exactly what they want and how to get it.

Our military is not so much an offensive force, designed to defeat and kill our enemies, that needs support and constant honing; better to see it as a large social organization that we must look at in terms only of proper rotations, health care, and benefits. We are to support the troops not in the sense of doing everything we can to ensure they win, and gain the proper recognition for their courage and sacrifice, but rather in consideration of their victimhood, offering proper sympathy and remediation for the defeat in Iraq, the unwise use of their skills, and the needless loss of their lives.

With Barrack Obama in the White House, America is on the verge of the type of socialist ideology not seen prevalent in America since shortly after the turn of the last century when the so called “Progressives” were enamored with the likes of Lenin and Mussolini

Head of English Church calls for Sharia Law

February 8, 2008 by Joe

Isn’t this just great.

From The Associated Press:

LONDON (AP) — The archbishop of Canterbury on Thursday called for a limited application of Islamic law in Britain. Muslims praised the proposal but the government rejected it.

The unusual suggestion from Britain’s highest ranking Christian leader would, if adopted, allow British Muslims to choose to resolve marital and financial disputes under Islamic law, known as Shariah, rather than through British courts.

Archbishop Rowan Williams said in a radio interview with British Broadcasting Corp. that incorporating Islamic law could help improve Britain’s flagging social cohesion.

“Certain provisions of Shariah are already recognized in our society and under our law, so it’s not as if we’re bringing in an alien and rival system,” said Williams, who gave a speech on the topic Thursday night.

This is the world we live in, where the head of the Church of England is openly calling for his country to embrace sharia law. How many years into a potential Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama presidency do you think it will take before we hear the same kind of garbage spewed here in America?
