Douchebag of the Week: David Brooks

In his newest op-ed piece for the bird cage liner to the world, David Brooks has come to the realization that Barack Obama is not a moderate.
From the New York Times:
Those of us who consider ourselves moderates — moderate-conservative, in my case — are forced to confront the reality that Barack Obama is not who we thought he was. His words are responsible; his character is inspiring. But his actions betray a transformational liberalism that should put every centrist on notice.
Mr. Brooks, since you are just now confronting the reality that anybody with more then 2 functioning brain cells knows to be a fact —- Barack Obama is an extreme liberal of the socialist kind. I have decided that I will give you a little help with some other concepts you may have difficulty coming to terms with… the sky is blue, grass is green and water is wet.
I have an even better piece of advice for you Mr. Brooks, how about you try growing a spine and actually picking a side? Or better yet just shutting your pie hole, because anybody who is gullible enough to have actually believed that Barack Obama was going to be some sort of transformational figure and a voice for moderation in American Politics is a complete and total moron.
That’s why Mr. Brooks, because of you spinelessness in your moderate convictions — which is just a way of saying that you don’t stand for anything, as well as your admission that you were duped by Obama you sir, are the Right Wing Rebel Douchebag of the week.
