Muslims in Houston try to Indoctrinate errr… “Educate” Their Neighbors

HOUSTON – The distribution of Qurans in a southwest Houston neighborhood has some residents worried about the motives of the group who dispersed the Islamic book.
An English translation of the Quran began appearing two weeks ago on the doorsteps of hundred of homes in the BraesTimbers neighborhood. The books came in plastic bags with a note attached from the ‘Book of Signs Foundation’ asking recipients to accept the Quran as a gift from the Muslim community.
But some residents, like Greg and Sue Ann Pieri, said they feared the group is imposing its beliefs on non-Muslims and found the gesture offensive.
“If we went into a Muslim country and left a bible, we would be in prison and then decapitated a few years later,” said Sue Ann Pieri, who chose not to destroy the book like other neighbors did.
However, Houston’s Council on American-Islamic Relations President Tarick Hussein said although his organization did not partake in distributing the books, he believes that the Muslims behind the distribution only wanted to educate non-Muslims about the religion.
The Book of Signs Foundation claims to have distributed 30,000 Qurans in Houston, targeting neighborhoods believed to be most receptive of the Quran or in need of a better understanding of Islam.
I’m sorry but if you’re goal is to educate non-Muslims about the Religion, I don’t think passing out free copies of the book are the way to go. Unless of course, by “educate” you mean showing them how much of a truly gutter religion Islam is.
Here are some bits and pieces of the Koran, courtesy of an old post of mine:
- Men are superior to women (surah 2:228).
- Women have half the rights of men: in court witness (surah 2:282) and in inheritance (surah 4:11).
- A man may punish his wife by beating her (surah 4:34).
- A man may marry up to four wives at the same time (surah 4:3).
- A wife is a sex object for her husband (surah 2:223).
- Muslims must fight until their opponents submit to Islam (surah 9:29).
- A Muslim must not take a Jew or a Christian for a friend (surah 5:51).
- A Muslim apostate must be killed (surah 9:12).
- Stealing is punished by the amputation of the hands (surah 5:38).
- Adultery is punished by public flogging (surah 24:2).
- Resisting Islam is punished by death, crucifixion or the cutting off of the hands and feet (surah 5:33).
- Fate decides everyone’s eternal destination (surah 17:13).
- Every Muslim will pass through Hell (surah 19:71).
- Heaven in Islam is the place where a Muslim will be reclining, eating meats and delicious fruits, drinking exquisite wines, and engaging in sex with virgins (surah 55:54- 56) & (surah 52:17,19).
Note to Muslims, except for the last point which don’t sound all that bad, passing out a book that outlines all that stuff to Non-Muslims is not a very good idea, you dumb asses.

Florida Democrat Supports the Military… of Soviet Russia

Showing the true nature of modern day Democrats, Florida Congressman Tim Mahoney, through his congressional office staff sent out a postcard that was intended to acknowledge and honor the sacrifices of the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed forces, both past and present. But, knowing that 99.9% of all liberal democrats can’t bring themselves in their hearts to fully and honestly honor our troops, somebody on Mahoney’s staff made an “honest error.”
Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer wants Congressman Tim Mahoney, D-Palm Beach Gardens, to reimburse taxpayers for a mailing that featured an image of a former soldier of the Soviet Union’s Red Army.
“Is a taxpayer-funded mail piece featuring a Soviet veteran who defended communism really the way that Congressman Mahoney wants to ‘honor’ our men and women in uniform?” Greer stated. “Floridian’s hard-earned tax dollars should never be used to promote a communist veteran, whether it is a mistake or not, and it is time for Tim Mahoney to reimburse the taxpayers of Congressional District 16 for this ridiculous waste of money, not to mention his insensitivity and complete lack of understanding of veterans’ issues.”
Mahoney’s office apologized Monday for placing the decorated Soviet on an office mailing that was to honor “those who defend our freedom.” But it had no response to Greer’s comment about repaying taxpayers.
“This was an honest staff error,” said Charles Halloran, chief of staff for Mahoney. “We deeply apologize to those who were offended and we will take steps to ensure that this mistake doesn’t happen in the future.”
I agree with the “honest” part, in that modern day Democrats certainly honestly do feel more for Red Russia then they do Red, White and Blue America
It’s Not Torture, If You’d Have It Done To Yourself on Purpose.

I actually like Christopher Hitchens, oftentimes I agree with a lot of what he writes about, except his views on atheism and such. But, with his most recent article for Vanity Fair, I have to call bullshit on Mr. Hitchens.
Christopher Hitchens had the act of water boarding performed on him, so he could write an article describing its effects and deciding whether or not it was torture.

As for my thoughts, if a 59-year old man willingly has the procedure done to him, for the purposes of writing an article for Vanity Fair magazine — then America needs to step up the techniques it uses to gain information from our enemies, because water boarding obviously isn’t tough enough.
Muslims Hate Puppies

In another sign that before my lifetime is up, Europe’s transformation into Eurabia will be complete, Scottish officials are apologizing after crazy Muslims complained about a cute little puppy on pictured on a postcard advertising a new phone number for the Tayside Police Force.
From the Scotsman:
A POLICE force has apologised over concerns that an advertisement featuring a German shepherd pup could be offensive to the Islamic community.
As part of a campaign to publicise its new non-emergency telephone number, Tayside Police used a picture of a black puppy, Rebel, on postcards to be distributed throughout the east coast region.
However, following the intervention of Mohammed Asif, a Dundee councillor who warned police the image would “not be welcomed” by some communities, the force described the publicity drive as an “oversight”.
Mr Asif, a member of the Tayside Joint Police Board, raised the matter on Monday after claiming the potentially offensive nature of the postcards had been brought to his attention by members of the city’s 3,000-strong Muslim community.
Traditionally, dogs have been seen as impure, and the Islamic legal tradition has developed several injunctions that warn Muslims against most contact with them.
I’m sorry, but if your religious beliefs cause you to complain about the picture of a puppy on a postcard, your religion is fucking stupid. Furthermore, anybody who apologizes over offending someone by putting a picture of a puppy on a postcard, is even fucking stupider.

Ian Mackintosh, an Angus councillor and convener of the Tayside Joint Police Board, said: “The force has made it clear that it was an oversight not to consult their diversity adviser on this occasion and that there was no intention to cause upset or offence.”
I can’t stand that there are even such things as “diversity advisers,” but what I hate even more is the sad state that our world is in when somebody has to apologize for not consulting with their “diversity adviser,” to see if printing a picture of a puppy on a postcard may offend anyone.
I expect this sort of sniveling, chicken-shit, bullshit from the likes of the French, but from the Scots? I just can’t believe it. Does anybody in Europe have a backbone anymore, or has it become a whole continent full of spineless fucking jellyfish just waiting for Islam to take it over?
