Hate Crime, err “Road Rage” in San Francisco

Today in San Francisco there was a hit and run spree that has left up to 14 people hurt, 7 of whom are in critical condition and 1 fatality. San Francisco police have Omeed Aziz Popal 29, in custody as the prime suspect of the hit and run assaults. What the mainstream media is not reporting is the fact that these hit and run attacks occurred in what is predominantly a Jewish area of San Francisco; in fact, one of the victims was run down in front of the Jewish Community Center.

I do not want to jump to any conclusions but let us see what we have here one man in custody whose name is Omeed Aziz Popal, now I could be wrong but that name does sound like a Middle Eastern name and not all, but the great majority of people from the Mideast are of the Islamic faith. Secondly, these heinous attacks occurred in a predominately Jewish community.

So what we have here is quite probably the second hate crime in mass proportions against Jews in barely even a months time in this country, and the mainstream media as well as the mayor of San Francisco are refusing to call it what it is.

San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom held a press conference today, (here is the video) and he called the attacks “road rage,” while stating that “there seems to be no pattern” to the victims in regards to ethnicity or age. He says, “We made no assertions that this was a hate crime, though that is being investigated.” The attacker is “relatively young,” Newsom stated, and that “it doesn’t look in any way shape or form” like an attack related to “international relations.”

The media is reporting this as an attack by a Black SUV instead of what it is. If this were a white guy driving down people in a predominantly African-American neighborhood or a man of any race running down innocent people in a gay neighborhood the term “Hate Crime” would be blasting all throughout the news. But because this is a man of Middle Eastern decent in a Jewish neighborhood, it doesn’t qualify as “hate” it’s just “road rage.”

I just know that tomorrow the MSM will be turning everything around and making it sound like Omeed Aziz Popal is the victim here and not the people he ran down.

[UPDATE] It looks like I have been called out for drumming up intolerance. Apparently the liberals hold the patent on what can and can not be called intolerance. A Muslim man isn’t intolerant for running down 14 people in a predominately Jewish neighborhood; he’s just an “idiot.” Once again, us “right wingers” must be pouncing on stories such as this one trying to find evidence of Jihad. Even though the culprit called himself a terrorist.
