While in Pennsylvania on a GOP fundraising trip for Lynn Swann, who is running for Governor, President Bush stopped to visit a Harley Davidson plant, where the photo below was taken.
The sound of the revving engine brought a loud cheer from the crowd of employees as Bush struck a cowboyish pose on the motorcycle.
I know he’s a transplant from Connecticut, but still, while many people like to complain about it I love the fact that the world views W as a cowboy.
Justice for JonBenet?

Wow, I figured that closing the book on this case was a lost cause, but apparently that may not be the case. According to the Associated Press, a forty-one year old former second grade teacher is in Bangkok awaiting extradition to the United States to be possibly sentenced for the death of JonBenet Ramsey.
KUSA-TV of Denver, citing no sources, reported that the suspect has confessed to certain elements of the crime.
After ten years, especially since early speculation was on the parents of little JonBenet, it sure seems weird to finally have a suspect in custody. Let’s hope there will finally be justice for little JonBenet Ramsey.

Michael Medved has a great post up today on townhall.com, where he discusses the root problem of Islamic Extremism.
Unlike the controversial “Chosen People” concept in Judaism, the Islamic notion of seizing power and conquest for the believers has never been purely spiritual, and has always featured a practical, political and temporal component. During Mohammed’s own lifetime, his movement spread through ruthless military conquest and within a generation of his death his successors had built a major world empire. Despite anti-Semitic screeds that warn of Jewish plots to achieve international “control,” not even the most fervent religious Zionist has ever called for imposing halakha (Jewish law) on the nations of the world, while hundreds of millions of Muslims openly demand that governments everywhere should adapt sharia (Islamic religious law) as the law of the land.
Too many people on the left claim that the causes of Islamic extremism our are attitudes towards Muslims and our support of Israel. When the real cause of radicalized Islam, is the interpretation of the Koran by many Islamic religious leaders.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An Israeli woman’s breast implants saved her life when she was wounded in a Hizbollah rocket attack during Israel’s war with the Lebanese group, a hospital spokesman said Tuesday.
Doctors found shrapnel embedded in the silicone implants, just inches from the 24-year-old’s heart.
“She was saved from death,” said a spokesman for Nahariya Hospital in northern Israel. The woman has been released from hospital.
I think I’m just going to let the story speak for itself.
